top banana
Hi all Does / Should the 58 reg 2009 model 1.6 TDCI focus ZETEC have heated front mirrors? The ford website where you can get full spec by entering vin or reg says so, but it also states that I should have headlight washers which I do not!! The heated front screen works (from switching on works for about 3 - 5 mins then auto switches off). Did not seem to remove light frost on mirrors today thats all, and handbook that came with car does not tell correct spec on car. bottletree
I am in the same boat as you. Got my Focus 1.6tdci on Monday and the handbook is bloomin hopeless. It covers many variations of the focus and you have to try and guess which part is detailing your specific model. I have the LX model, but the handbook covers little on my make. hillmangimp
Perhaps the heated electric mirrors are connected to the rear heated screen and not the front? I think the heated front screen button also operates the ehated washer jets. I have 55 TDCI Zetec and I've never had issues with frosty wing mirrors and I would think an 08 model is liekly to have the feature.
