Imprezajay86 Posted July 20, 2019 Share Posted July 20, 2019 This is my Focus estate 1.8 LX TDCI I got this car a few weeks ago, had plenty of issues when I first got it, EML was on which was from a perished alternator cable, engine was juddering like mad and had hesitation while driving, which turned out to be the EGR valve, so blanked that off and its running better than ever. This how it was looking: Then I bought some Angel eye headlights for it Before After Managed to pick up some cheap standard alloy wheels for it, a temporary wheel till I find the wheels I want Last weekend I went and had the rear windows tinted in Limo Black That is currently how it sits, 30mm Eibach lowering springs will be next to go on, followed by smoked rear lights, exhaust, spoiler, wheels and a decent body kit if I can find one lol 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Pug=309 Posted July 24, 2019 Share Posted July 24, 2019 Aye, I miss my 91 Peugeot 309, had big plans, but hey ho, yes they do, and there's very little that can be done to make your car unique, as bad as it may sound, I miss those "max power" days of car modifying, even though there was enough crap kits out there to seal the hole in ozone layer, there were some pretty nicely done motors, but I digress. Imprezajay86 Posted July 31, 2019 Author Share Posted July 31, 2019 Well, this evening I've fitted my new wheels, actually like these more than I thought I would lol The back is only sitting low because I have this lot in the boot lol Also had a go at tinting my rear lights, completely messed that up lol but I did manage to do it good enough to see what it would look like Thought it would be too dark, but the standard bulbs actually show up really well through it, so when I've changed to LED Bulbs that'll make them even better Just need to find someone to tint them for me now lol 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Imprezajay86 Posted August 10, 2019 Author Share Posted August 10, 2019 Well I now have to wait till the end of the month before I can lower my car, they sent the wrong springs for my car so now have to wait for them to send the correct ones, which are supposedly being delivered on the 28th🙄 On the bright side, it's booked in for the 23rd to be remapped will take it from 115bhp to 150bhp and from 245nm torque to around 300nm torque, can't complain about that Also, if anyone knows where I can get a subtle body kit from that will fit my car that would be helpful, splitter, skirts, diffuser and spoiler, seems they're not the easiest thing to find these days Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Imprezajay86 Posted August 10, 2019 Author Share Posted August 10, 2019 Yeah I was happy to find it was just the EGR, when it gets remapped they're also going to map out the egr altogether, well worth the extra £20 Looks wise it's not far off being where I want it now, nice little standard body kit, spoiler, lowered, wheels refurbed in black and then that's the external done, then onto the engine to get as much power as possible, when the inevitable happens and it goes bang then I'll be looking at getting a bigger engine and doing all over again lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
