Solverz 20 Posted July 22 Just done a full service on a 2008 Ford Focus but where is the fuel filter? I read that it is one of those lifetime ones but where is it located? Can it be replaced easily?
JW1982 1,567 Posted July 22 From the Focus MK2 onwards there is no changeable fuel filter on the petrol engines. There is only a strainer (with relative large mesh) inside the fuel tank at the inlet side of the fuel pump. This strainer is part of the fuel pump & sender unit and not available as a seperate spare part. The strainer is considered to be unserviceable and does not have a specified changing interval. If you want to replace the strainer you have to remove the fuel tank completely and replace the complete fuel pump & sender unit. 1 1 Solverz and 1979Damian reacted to this
