The worst thing is, I'm adamant that I drove past one of the cars (it was an astra) whilst it was taking snaps... can't for the life of me remember where it was though!

Same. Although I remember what stretch of road I saw it on, but you can see by the different weather half way down the road that it was covered by 2 trips down the road in opposite direction. Which probably means my car doesn't exsist on streetview. :(

I wonder how much those "GoogleCar" driver's got payed to do that. Obviously a really tedious route they had to do day in day out doing masses of miles ... Bet it got tiring seeing people stare at you too.

I wonder what the next thing is they'll do? They've done Google Earth, Google Space, now Google Street Map?

That's the first fiesta I've seen with L plates! If you thought taking the photos was dull, what about the poor sap who has to blur out all the number plates and faces!

I went passed my local Ford dealer on Google street view and it's sad seeing all the mark 7's with discontinued colours.

You're obviously not looking hard enough!!! :P I'm learning in the Mk7 in my sig and my driving instructor has got a Mk6 style :D

And I think they use a computer to blur out all the plates etc!

No!! It's not... Street view goes right down to the end of my cul-de-sac but the view of my drive is obscured by bushes :(

!Removed! bushes. Could the fez be there or would it be the volvo??

It would probably be the volvo looking at the weather and which cars are on my neighbours drives.... :(
