Clunking

I have recently fitted 35mm lowering springs on my fez. This morning I noticed that when I turn the Shell a quarter turn to the left, there is a loud clunking coming from the middle at the front. It also does it when I go over a big bump in the road.

Thanks in advance.

Anti roll bushing?

Been under the car for most of the day and can’t see anything loose. All the bushings seem fine, it makes the sound when I go over bumps whatever side it is but it only does it when I turn left and when I’m moving. It sounds like it’s coming from the middle but strut top mountings and bearings are the only thing I can think of.

Even if it looks fine might be worth trying a bit of silicone spray on the nearside anti roll d bush. You can do it without lifting the car again and has solved similar problems for me before.

I too have a similar problem with my Focus, could you let me know how you get on please with this probllem as I have change all 3 engine mounts and still have this strange rumbling noise. My mechanic has inspected the anti roll bars and said they were ok. It is driving me crazy.

Sounds like to could be play in the anti roll bushes if it only happens when you are changing direction when the car is moving
