Dead battery.

Battery showing as 82% has started this morning had a long run yesterday

It's probably dropped a cell, they do just fail without any warning unfortunately.   The voltage is still there but not enough amps to power the starter.

If it's not the battery then it'll be the starter motor but they're not a common issue on these yet.

It happened a couple of days ago as well when I brought the car, jump started it, took it to a garage and they said it was at 82% and a long run would sort it out but it hasn't

Battery cable connections in good order?

New battery will sort the problem out for you 😉

Did you buy it from a trader?  If so, take it back and ask them to fit a new battery for free (but make sure it's the correct type for a stop/start vehicle).  The fact you can jump start it proves it's the battery instead of the starter.  And having 82% charge isn't really relevant at all, we know it had some charge when tested as you'd driven it to the garage.

Did you get the batt sorted out and what was the out come. No free badge these days.

The dealer I bought mine from told me the badge thing had stopped but the still supplied a couple for free for me. Did a ***** job of putting them on mind...

Apparently they are 'pennies'...

The badge replacement campaign ended about 2 years ago.
I did have a scan of the original campaign letter that I blagged from my Dealership at one point but can't locate it now.
