I’m just about to buy a 1984 Carb Cabrio, low miles, several repairs over the years eg battery tray, some light cosmetic needs but good hood, great engine, new cvh bits like belt pump etc and appears to be sporting original vv carb.

On XR3 alloys and standard ride height, big jobs are cracked dash, seat split. 

Is it really so hard to find bits for a mk3 these days?
