Timing Belt

I have a 2009 Titanium X sport 2.2 175bhp and it's just turned 10yrs old so will be due a timing belt change.

Is it a belt on this model or a chain?

Also, where is the best place to get the parts?

I need the kit and a water pump.

I don't know the answer on belt/chain.

With regard to where to get parts, we can not tell where your location is

It's a belt on that model.

Can be confusing though as the older 2.2TDCi was a chain.

I'd guess Ireland from his name...

Assuming it is Ireland though, I don't know which chain stores they have?  Euro car parts?  Of course there's always the main dealer or eBay as well.

Thanks guys. Yeah, we have euro car parts but the stock they hold on timing belts is poor. Always out if stock.
