Yes - you can cancel the order if they go so many weeks over their agreed delivery date.  It's in the small print somewhere.

Not surprised at Ford being secretive about whatever the issue is. I guess they’re probably trying to avoid a big costly recall in the future.

Oh dear. I ordered an Active X Estate 2.0 ecoblue today and was told it will begin to be built early December ready for collection in January. Don't fancy my chances after reading these posts.

Picking mine up tomorrow from the dealership - in total 18 weeks from order to delivery for me. Was getting a wee bit nervous towards the end of the wait that it might be delayed but they've come through a week earlier than their last revised delivery date. Dealer mentioned on Saturday he was waiting on the green light on something to do with the WLTP changes given it's the 2020.25 MY but I wasn't too fussed about the detail once I knew the car had made it to Mossend.

I've been 11 weeks and 14 weeks for new build orders in the past with BMW and VW respectively. Just a little while longer for me this time round with Ford, but when accounting for the August shut down it's pretty much in line really. 

You may be lucky Jamie, could be a cancelled order that's already working its way through the system that matches exactly what you've ordered meaning you'll get it early. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

I ordered a Focus 1.5 Ecoboost 150 Titanium X 5 door in diffused  Silver back in  MAY and still haven't got a delivery date!

In the meantime my Daughters old car has expired and we are car sharing my current Focus!!!

Very angry grrrrrrrrr!

 

Ordered a Focus Vignale 182 mid October ,some extras  , promised date February 2020, then out of nowhere been called that car arrived and will be delivered on 20th December,  which it happened. 

Reading the thread I should consider myself lucky. 

So far so good,  hope it stays like that
