Mk4 focus keyless double locking problem

Featured Replies

Hi, any other Mk4 focus owners having problems with keyless double locking? Single locking is fine when touching the sensor on the door handle and double locking using the key fob is fine. Very rarely does double keyless locking work. Handle and sensor are clean and I am using the sensor as the instruction manual says. I have also tried different handles.

Thanks

Just take it back .Mines ok but I had same problem on a Mk3 . Dealer reprogrammed it and said it probably came from factory like that.

Thanks for the info

I have a simple question, how do I tell if it's double locked or not

The indicators should flash twice if you double lock, but if you double lock the car with a window open you shouldn't  be able to open the door by pulling on the inside handle ,mind you the alarm will probably go off.
