Hi This is my first post, so I apologise if i havent done everything correctly.

I have had my Focus STLine x (1.5 (182ps) manual for about 10 months.  Recently started getting multiple issues.

1.  Clunking noise when changing gear (mainly 1st to 2nd gear, but can be slight heard when changing to 3rd)

2.  Intermittent starting issues when hot (won't always start first time).  When it does start engine rattles.

3. Most recent problem:  Creaking noise from LH front suspension when turning/putting load on LH side of the car.

I have been back to dealer about the clunking gears.  Ford seem to know about the issue but currently do not have a fix for it.

 Dealer has carried multiple software updates for the starting issue, but have not resolved the it yet.

The car is going back in tomorrow for the starting and creaking suspension issues.

My question is, has anyone else experienced any of these issues?.  And if so, did you get it resolved?.  Mileage on my car is about 10,500miles

I had a creaking noise from front suspension on both sides at only 2k miles. Turned out to be both front droplinks that were making the noise when driving very slow less than 10mph or when pulling up and manoeuvring.Both replaced and ok now. Took 4 weeks to get them from Germany though !

Thanks for the reply, I will mention this as a possible problem when i take the car into the dealer.

I've got an ST-LINE X 1.5 oil burner and i get the clunk from 1st to 2nd. I'll ask them to look at that on first service.
