Focus Mk1 H7 bulb replacement

Featured Replies

Quick heads up Guys.Had to replace this bulb front headlight passenger side. Most recommend remove headlight.Time consuming and likely followed by MOT alignment failure I would think. Rob your wife’s makeup bag and nick her little mirror to get view of back of light.Bulb clip is like a hinged spring(Think safety pin here) Don’t disturb the hinge but wiggle clip side loose.Refit new bulb ,replace clip. Its fiddly and a pig to see but quicker this way I would think.Good luck!!

Mark the fixings and mounting points with a pencil before you remove headlamp, then you make sure it goes back in the same place.

a few years ago I bought a mirror for doing things like this. a dentist type mirror on a telescopic stick (slides out like an old style car aerial). Very cheap on ebay. Useful thing to have in your tool box.
