Hello. Is it possible to get a diagnostic and repair manuals for PowerShift 6DCT250 transmission?

I need to disassembly my gearbox and inspect all inside for repair.

    Good luck with that, not even ford techs have access to repair manual for the dct250 box. It's known as a sealed box. You won't get internal spares from ford either . Nearly all problems are associated with the transmission control module or clutch pack/oil seals. Special tools are required to even remove the clutch.

    The Ford DPS6 Powershift transmission is basically a modified version of the Getrag 6DCT250 transmission and produced by a joint venture of Ford and Getrag.Ford considers this transmission to be unserviceable. Internal transmission parts and technical information are not available from Ford.


    However Schaeffler (manufacturer of the LUK/*****/INA brands) does offer some of the internal transmission parts for the DPS6 Powershift transmission as well as the special tools that are needed to service/repair this transmission.They even developed a service manual for the DPS6 Powershift transmission which can be found on the following website:

    Before even considering to repair the DPS6 Powershift transmission you must be aware that the special tools that are needed to service/repair this transmission will cost a fortune and servicing/repairing is a specialist job.
