hampi
Im find out Front passenger speaker was switched polarity from factory WTF?!!! Im replace them also and no more muffled sound on midrange frequencies.. but amp dont send to front full signal (seem dsp send only bass and mids el.crossover maybe) ,due to split signal to main unit for dashboard 3 Speakers

hampi
in existing subwoofer i'm already try several bass Speakers best play choice is audison around 130Eur original factory speaker cost seems 10-20 eur Pyle its much better piece for 60 eur but sensitivity is too low due to larger coils Stock amp is already small and powering just 4 doors Speakers + sub. 6 chanels Front 3 dashboard Speakers running from head unit located behind the main display on pics
BustedCeramics
I've changed all door Speakers to Focal, changed amplifier and everythings good. I bought B&O subwoofer enclosure and am changing the subwoofer so wanted to know if you used the Audison or Pyle, or which one? Are you going to do programming on Forscan to get rid of open circuit error and to stop the factory equaliser? I'm going to use resistors to stop the open circuit error but still don't know how to deal with factory eq and instead send line level out as in this thread for the F250 : http://www.2gfusions.net/showthread.php?tid=3704

For the subwoofer I have a Rockford Fosgate PBR300x4, I lost the mono amplifier I had. I'm thinking about a Rockford P3SD4-8 but will have a look at the Audison. The link is about Sony but I've emailed Forscan about what to do for the Fiesta to be able to get the same line level output, if they tell me anything I'll tell you here. hampi
audison is good they make pretty good job on OEM sound car easy upgrade kits like https://www.audison.eu/news/f-150/ but this is for sony and standart old one Ford start putting to new F150 model B&O play with similar amp but little bigger because bigger subwoofer unit as you can see on first pics my last post the blue socket is micro usb cable connecting DSP amp under passenger seat....so maybe if someone try connect will be work (maybe) https://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-FOCUS-FIESTA-B-O-PLAY-AMP-AMPLIFIER-MODULE-JX7T-18B849-AH-2017-2018-2019/382959789798?hash=item592a2ea6e6:g:VM0AAOSw~25c3~Mo amp is not so expensive and doing 2x4Ohms sub its seems to me like easy way to try
Si_ST
Hi Hampi, Love what you've done to your car! I bet it must sound amazing with the DSP. I recently changed all Speakers in a Mk8 FST (B&O Play) to the Focal Access, the sub to the same Audision one you recommended, and centre to Dayton Audio RS75-4. When the engine is off, it sound amassing compared to standard, and just how I want it. However, hen the engine is running the extra vibration really seems to dull the bass and ruin the sound other than at very loud volumes. It may be the powerflex engine mount that causes NVH, (needed to stop wheel hope due to M235) or the ST's fake engine sound that is played via speakers (which I have just purchased a forscan cable to turn off)), or just lock of sound deadening. What parts of the sound dreading that you've put in would you say made the most difference? With all you've done, does running the engine ruin your sound system too (at normal levels)? BTW - I also had the LHS speaker phase/crossed wire problem from factory, only noticed after changing speaker (I didn't cut any wires)
Guest
Wow that looks like some upgrade! I admire your knowledge. Must admit although I love my 2019 Fiesta to bits, I'm more than disappointed with the B&O sound system, and as for the subwoofer its sub standard 🙂 IMHO

Bet the B&O system is only £300 upgrade from standard.

I've had quite a lot of cars over the years all with pretty good music systems which were standard to the model I ordered. You will never believe it, but best quality music I ever had from any system was on Vauxhall astra mk1 The Ford subwoofer I have designed to fit where spare wheel goes maybe useful as a headstone next time I see a dead squirrel in the road 🙂

Si_ST
More info on B&O play upgrade in case anyone is interested, after I changed just Speakers. I used forscan for first time today, and found two settings to change the sound (on Mk8 FST anyway): 1 - turned off Engine Sound Enhancement fake engine sound 2 - In ACM module, under EQ SPECIAL MODES, It changed from "2-Flat" to "1-No special mode". Seems to turn graphic equalisation off. This made the sound level increase immensely, you can actually feel the sub. Needs more testing, it may ruin other music, I'm yet to decide. 3 - I couldn't get this one to change, it's - Anti Noise Control - ESE ONLY" ; Noise cancellation (not as such but uses information about the running of the engine to counteract the noise) See https://www.f150foru...-357712/index2/ If anyone else tries this, please post your thoughts.
