Sill Protectors / Kick Plates

Featured Replies

Just looking for general opinions. What do you think of kick plates, are they worth it, easy to fit, look good ect.
I've been looking at these for my Mk4 https://www.lockwoodinternational.co.uk/sill-protectors/ford/focus/mk4/focus-mk4-part-no-k216.html

I would never be without them. They look good, they work and they do an important job.

What job is that?  I've always thought they were only for show...

I do like the look though, can you get branded ones for the Mk4?  I'm sure the ones in my old Mk2/3 either said Ford or Focus on them...

Over a period of time sills always get scuff marks from heels no matter how careful you are and start to look scruffy, I used to be a chauffeur and I know how important they are for keeping the car looking neat and tidy , I've always had them for over 40 years.
