Sync 3 focus rs

Featured Replies

Hoping someone can help.

Have a 17 plate Focus RS when using CarPlay the system just freezes, I can’t do anything. I thought it was worth checking to see if there was maybe an update for sync and found that I had v3.0 on the device. Went to the Ford site, dropped in the vin and downloaded. Have done everything needed and the system says update complete but, the version is still showing 3.0.

am totally at a loss, the CarPlay still just freezes and I have no ideas.

any help would be grateful received.

thanks

Carplay is fine on mine running 3.0, running iOS  12.1.2.

have you tried a master reset on sync3?
