I have a European Jan 2017 Focus Mk 3.5 Titanium X with just about every option on the list, it is an Ex Ford Managers car.   For me it is problematic in as much as I am trying to fit aftermarket speakers, a 4 channel amplifier and an active Subwoofer.  Every other car I have ever owned this has been relatively simple, even if labour intensive at times.  The Focus is anything but simple mainly due to ford fitting Sony tweeters and claiming a premium system. I purchased an AP4-FD21 Pac Amp Pro, but it seems that the head unit ACM is not made by Sony at all, so these is no DSP activity at the amp pro...so I assume that it is just plainly incompatible.  Anyway so the sync 3 looks like this and I need to sort it out properly. No one seems to be able to tell me if it has a factory amplifier or if it is part of the ACM....where this amplifier would be (it isn't in the back, only a subwoofer in the spare wheel) or what I need to make this annoying unit connect with my aftermarket amplifier and sort out the Factory processing so I have a flat signal....  Help!!!!

It seems the dumb ***** at Ford Europe decided we were going to have the amplifiers in the ACM in the dash whether we liked it or not.......whereas North America gets them in the Trunk....the retards at Ford strike again i guess......so all the solutions created in the USA don't work on the European Focus.... way to go Ford....
