hippy1990
Hey guys I brought a 2008 focus 2.0 tdci titanium I brought about 6 months ago and I have just started to modify the car to my liking and I have a lot of bits in the works but I was able to do some little bits today. I was able to swap the stock air filter out a bigger k & n one and also sort out the rear chrome stip on the boot as the previous owner decided to bolt it on with 2 very bent bolt I have previded pics to. Tomorrow I'm also putting on my new wheels and il post when they r on.
Lenny
Looking forward to watching the progress mate, The chrome tailgate strip is prone to being stolen which is perhaps why the previous owner put bolts in it as perhaps someone broke it while attempting to remove it, The K&N gives some noticeable gains, I have a list of guides here you may like to view: https://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/68214-full-list-lennys-guides/

hippy1990
Hey people I've lowered the front end of my car and added 15mm spacers on and know I have a lot of steering wheel wobble and I'm trying to diagnose it if anyone has any ideas it would be a great help. TomsFocus
Spacers are probably off centre or out of balance. Try it without them. You should also have the wheel alignment adjusted after lowering but that wont cause a wobble.

Thanks in advance ST intercooler is a straight upgrade another manufacturer is R-Sports which has a diesel specific available from European-parts in Germany whom specialise in aftermarket ford items but very costly. Link: https://www.european-parts.net/en/R-Sport-Intercooler-Focus-MK2-ST--TDCI.html Also Piper manufacture a straight fit duplex exhaust for the diesel focus; have it fitted myself Price of stainless fluctuates over time heres a link but shop around also contact piper directly as I got mine for 450GBP back in 2014 As saw in my build here link: You will also need an ST focus exhaust hanger for the rear drivers side it's only around 12gbp from ford and supports the other exhaust pipe, Link: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Piper-Catback-Duplex-Exhaust-System-for-Ford-Focus-MK2-1-6-1-8-2-0L-Diesel-/321895083450 And for the ford parts check out here: cheaper than my local dealership because they wont get to say "ooh nice focus" like my local dealership used to say each time I went to purchase parts 😅 Link: https://www.fordpartsuk.com

Don't forget to get the tracking alignment done in two or three weeks and adjust the headlights too, otherwise the inner side of the rear wheels will wear excessively, which I'm sure your already aware
hippy1990
Yep I'm aware of that thanks lenny and I forgot about the lights.
Pug=309
Hey, how does that k&n filter sound? Been contemplating getting one of those myself (like yours that has the removable "bung" ) but wasn't sure if there would be any sound benefit over a "bungless" k&n filter. Thanks Allan
hippy1990
Hey Allan there is quite a sound difference when u remove the bug from the end.
