The engine has seized and we are looking for another engine. Cant find a 1.3 to fit. He only wants a small engine so he could learn to drive when he is older, any ideas please? isetta Posted October 30, 2019 Share Posted October 30, 2019 i don't think the 1.3 was very common in the mk5 escort. i would imagine it felt a bit sluggish. i think the fiesta of the same era was available with the same engine (although I think most Fiestas had the smaller engine options). have explored fiesta engines?
