2007 Focus 1.6 (100PS) OR 2010 Focus Zetec S 1.6 (115PS) Ti-VCT?

Featured Replies

Hi.

I'm thinking of upgrading from a 2007 Focus 1.6L Zetec-S PFI (100PS)

To

2010 Ford Focus Zetec S 1.6L Duratec 16V Ti-VCT (115PS) Sigma

Are there any issues with the Ti-VCT I should be aware of?

I know it had an electronic thermostat in earlier models and read it was changed in later models but I'm not sure how late of a model it referred to.

Is this a good idea or worth steering clear of?

Thanks for reading. Any advice is well appreciated (in this case could save me thousands).

Cheers.
