I actually posted a thread a bit below about issues with my current mk2.5 diesel focus, I seriously debating weather to get a new car as I don't really want to spend hundreds of pounds fixing a car I will likely get rid of next year.

I'm looking at a new focus in particular the ST-line but unsure on what engine the 1 litre 125ps EB or 1.5 150ps EB, I have read a few issues with both, some coolant issue with the 1 litre and some rattling issue in the 1.5, I gather these issues may have been rectified now though?

Anyway I do roughly 15miles a day to work and back, mainly A roads and country lanes, but I do use motorways occasionally when going places. I feel both would be fine for me but I just think I would prefer the 1.5L.

What do you guys think, any issues with this engine?
