Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI 2005

Featured Replies

Having replaced the lower intake hose I now have power and compression again. I can for the first time hear the turbo working. The sound is not a whooshing sound and the car feels great. Fuel consumption has risen, even though I have a heavy right foot. The car feels the best since I bought it in May 2019.

Thanks for the replies and quotes guys, much appreciated.

The next step is to upgrade the front end, followed by the rear for better handling. I'm looking to change the front driveshafts, wheel hubs, discs, calipers and brake pads as the next step, followed by the rear. I have the MK2 ST225 wheels and want the car the best it can be. The wheels are sized at 225/40 R18. What size wheel hubs do I need for the 320mm discs if they're even compatible with my Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI.
