VLER
There is no option to switch off lane assist by default. Anyone found a workaround via software or hardware? It’s probably possible to pull one of the breakers, but I want to avoid messing with emergency braking.
Mark-UK
It is not on by default, you turn it on and off via the button on the indicator stalk.
Guy Heaton
Lane assist doesn't brake, it just wobbles the steering wheel annoyingly. Also doesn't anyone just read the manual? 5

It is the same as the button for the rear windscreen wiper but on the opposite stick.

You press that button once and even if you restart the car the lane assist is off. In settings you can configure how hard the steering wheel gets with lane assist but it won't be able to be turned off.
