FOCUS MK2 2.0 Petrol Auto judder under load

Featured Replies

Hi

Need some help 😞

2007 Mk2 2.0 Petrol Automatic Titanium is juddering when under load/accelerating and is particularly bad when faced with any kind of incline.

Best way I can describe is like its really holding back to the point where it struggles to accelerate at all and the whole car judders.  Being an auto it's a real issue when facing any kind of hill.

I have replaced plugs and coil packs but no better.

Any ideas anyone as its driving me nuts?

Thanks for all the advice really appreciated.

Are you sure it's the engine, not the gearbox slipping?

We don't have many auto members on here hence the lack of replies lol.
