LeeMurf86 Posted November 26, 2019 Share Posted November 26, 2019 Hi everyone I picked up the new focus ST last weekend. I am struggling to learn all the changes from my 2017 ST-2! The ford pass app allows you to unlock and lock your car. When i open the app it shows the start engine option but it disappears in 1 or 2 seconds. Does anybody know why it wont allow me to remote start the engine from the app? It is a 2.3L petrol Manual not automatic. Thanks in advance for any help or advice! alexp999 Posted November 26, 2019 Share Posted November 26, 2019 I guess it's because you could leave the car in gear, where on an auto the car is in control of what gear it's in. When it's really cold, I usually start the engine first and hit the heated seats and steering wheel button, then by the time I've cleared the side windows of frost/ice, it's getting nice and toasty. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
