No ignition on push button

Featured Replies

Hi all I'm all the way from Cape town South Africa and I have the UK spec RS imported.

I have an issue were I fitted under glow light a wired it straight from my battery and earth from kick panel.the car is worked and looked great I drove  away from the were I fitted it a couple of miles and a steering wheel malfunction error came up I then continued thinking it would go away as previously but it stayed. I then stopped for Gas (petroleum) 95 octane. Switched off the car paid the jockey and wanted to drive off pushed clutch in and pushed the start button and no ignition lights came on just the error message steering wheel malfunction.

Please any advice or assistance would be helpful.

Sounds like the new lights have pulled the battery down.
Simple answer - disconnect the lights and charge the battery.
