I understand that I need to split the ball joint and was going to get a scissor type splitter. They appear to come in either up to 19mm or 20mm to 60mm size. stef123 Posted November 26, 2019 Share Posted November 26, 2019 I generally just remove the pinch bolt, use a small chisel to open up the slot and lever the control arm down.
