Ford focus active parking

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I have a 19 plate ford focus with the active park, but whenever I press the button, nothing happens. Any help would be great!

Thanks

Are you pressing the right button?

I only ask because on my Focus there are two buttons one above the other by the hand brake and when I first tried the active park I kept pressing the wrong button.

I'm not suggesting you don't know what your doing, but I did make this mistake.

Failing this, if you have a 19 plate then a trip to the dealership.

Hope this helps.

Stuart.

on my sisters one, you can only park same side as the direction of traffic, as you see a gap ahead, before you get there, slow to under 20mph, press the button, indicate and drive past the space where the car calculates if it fits.  If OK it then shows messages in the cluster on what to do...   like stop, place in reverse and slowly go back leaving the wheel to do its thing and apply brakes when it says, then put in first and stop and park up.  Whereupon you notice its done the perfect parallel park 4 inches from the kerb
