    was slave cylinder replaced at same time? good idea to do that as gearbox needs to come out to get to slave cylinder so normal to change it when doing clutch to save lots of labour at a later date.  have you checked fluid level in the reservoir?  could be master cylinder fault. check pipes between mater cylinder and gearbox for any fluid leaks. might be air in there that needs bleeding but you need to establish why that happened
