Ford CD6000 and Parrot hands free not working

Featured Replies

I recently got a 2008 Ford Focus. It had a working Parrot hands free kit installed. I was able to use the hands free but there was a minor wiring problem that I needed to look at. All I have done is take the radio out, done a visual inspection of the wiring and replaced the radio. But now neither the Radio nor the hands free kit works. I put a volt meter on the live (red) wire and have a reading of twelve volts. Why should both not work, does the parrot take its power from the radio and if the radio is now duff the parrot wont work???

Kinda lost on this one folks so any info will help

Ta

Mike

PS, radio was working prior to taking out, i have run an earth wire direct from case of radio to earth, neither radio nor parrot lighting up
