When topping up my washer fluid I ran the jets for a second just to empty some of the remaining summer mix, when I opened the bonnet back up I found a bunch of the fluid pooled up on top of the battery cover. Quick investigation showed me that two of the trim clips were hanging most of the way out, I've since popped those back in but a quick water test shows that water is still leaking through (they don't seem to be creating the best seal.

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer but I presume this is not meant to happen? (I.e. it's not part of the water drainage). I've attached some pictures of the location/result.
