Retrofit MK3.5 facelift steering wheel in 2012

Featured Replies

Following on from my recent how to on upgrading a 2012 non-sync to Sync 3 I am looking in to the feasibility of swapping my steering wheel to a facelift model.

My current steering wheel is this:

It's the one with two d-pads (one on each side) and everything works but now the right hand side road is no longer used for controlling the IPC screen (this is now the left hand side d-pad). It also has cruise control and speed limit.

Does anyone know if it can be swapped and if the wiring is the same?

Any part numbers or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

James
