want to change mk1 (1999) to mk2 (2004) headlight cluster

i have got a mk1 1999 focus the front lights have always been bad but are getting worse i have been given a set of front lights from a mk2 2004 which have bolted into place easily just need some advice as to wiring them up have got a 10v dc feed that comes on when headlights and or main beam and cannot figure out adjustment motor as the new ones have three connections help
