Door lock issue

Hi I've got a problem with my Ford Focus Titanium 2009 keyless entry on the lock button on the inside of the door panel it is very stiff, when I come to opening the door from a locked position I have to use the latch lever twice before it will open the door, first time one will unlock it the second one will open the door. I'm just wondering what I need to replace is it the door or locking mechanism as I've replaced the lever and lock button to no avail

 

The remote cable had a serious bend in it which I straightened but probably will be bent again.
