62 plate focus radio fault

Featured Replies

Hi all new to the forum. This morning when I started my focus I went to switch the radio on but I can use the radio. Its stuck on the dab station it was on when last used. I can still use the Bluetooth and other menus but the radio is frozen. Anyone any ideas?

Cheers

my guess is that a reboot would fix it.  disconnect the power for a minute, but not convenient to do that, I know.  A lot of electrical stuff has other ways of rebooting like holding the power button in for a number of seconds or pressing other buttons in a certain sequence. I do not know if ford have made it easy to do that, and I don't know what the button sequence would be.

Thanks will give that a try. Should it be OK to pull the fuse for the radio rather than disconnecting the battery? Auto electrics is not my strongest suit.

Cheers
