Matt92
Hi everyone, merry Christmas and a happy new year to all. Just a quick one to see if anyone’s has seen this before. Occasionally when I start my car, the climate controls decide to reset from where I left them. The auto light comes on, as does the air con light and the heat changes to 22 on both sides of the car. This happened yesterday and normally I just set the temperature back to where I want it and the other controls, but this time the knobs that control the temperature had swapped sides (sounds crazy, I know). I brought up the climate view on the sync screen and when I turned the drivers side knob the passenger side temperature changed and vice versa. I turned the car off and on again after my short journey and it was back to normal operation. Has anyone seen this before and is it just one of those little hiccups in the software or am I heading for expense.
matt77303
Seem to remember if you enable climate control on sync3 with forscan. It reverses everything. You done any changes on forscan? Matt
Matt92
Not to the Sync system, no. I think to date all I’ve done with FORScan is add the towing electrics, auto door locking and DRL headlights. I should have said that it’s running the stock Sync 2 in it. I don’t think it’s ever had the software updated, at least not for a number of years so perhaps something like that would solve the little gremlins.
