New Ford Focus ST line courtesy car

Featured Replies

Hey Guys,

I was given a new shape Ford Focus ST line 1L ecoboost recently. I was impressed with the interior quality of this generation of Focus.

When I was driving it I noticed immediately how slow it was in comparison to my 2.0 tdci Mondeo. I was also shocked to see the car was only getting 23mpg

Here is a video of the car if anyone wants to see it?

Yes, very nice looking car. Not surprising it feels slow compared to a 2.0tdci when you look at the difference in torque.

A mate of mine went through the exercise of downsizing from his 2.0tdci Mondeo estate recently. He couldn't get on with the Ecoboost at all, and ended up with another diesel,  but a Golf estate this time.
