Hi all,

Still getting used to my car after a month of ownership but I must say the Sync 2 is started to be very bothersome, here's my problems so far:

• Wi-Fi doesnt automatically connect after initial setup, always wants password
• Navigation lost GPS (done this once) so didn't know where the car was for navigation
• Android Auto keeps disconnecting and reconnecting, I've detailed this in another post
• Can't get it to update when I do get it on Wi-Fi, just stays on checking for updates for about 10 minutes before I turn the car off when I lose patience
• Navigation started to say take 2nd exit for any roundabout no matter what exit I was actually taking (done this once)
• Didn't connect to my phone over Bluetooth, had to restart car to get it to work (done this once)

To say I've only had the car a month it's not great that all that has happened, any ideas or things for me to try before I get it booked in with Ford?

At this point I'm considering replacing it with a Android Auto head unit, but don't really want to lose things like reversing camera and other features by doing this!

You should probably upgrade to Sync 3.  Wifi updates don't seem to work in the UK.  I have Sync 3 in my 2017 Focus but I am having problems upgrading it to the  version needed for maps f8.

Every day at least one thing plays up, hill start, auto start stop, sync 3, ANDROID auto, sat nav.....welcome to 2020.
