I've been trying to follow the install guides on here with no success! 

 

Please can you help.

 

 

I purchased this connector from amazon and have attached to my sync unit. This has an rca for the video feed which I connected.

I've ran my cable through the car to camera location and connected both power wire to my reverse light and the video cable to the camera, i'm getting a strong reading from my multimeter too from the power line.

I have downloaded forscan and activated the camera but I dont seem to be getting anything on my display. 

 

I was wandering what the red wires attached to the video cables are for? 

I was under the impression they are for use as a live wire? Instead of a reverse feed from the light.

Do I need to connect these to anything?

 

Also have tested the camera is working.
