Evening all, I wonder if you can help me.

I’ve just bought a 59 plate focus titanium with this Stereo

we are trying to get the Sat Nav working.

I thought I would try you guys first before contacting Ford.

i thought maybe you would need to insert an SD card, however there doesn’t seem to be a slot for it. We are a little stumped.

    The video shows the newer Premium MCA satnav system. This system was never used in the Focus MK2.5. The Focus MK2.5 did have the older Premium Travelpilot NX satnav system.

    Despite looking very similar there are also major differences between the MCA and the Travelpilot NX. Earlier Travelpilot NX versions (--> 2010) do have the maps on a DVD. Newer Travelpilot NX versions (2010 --> and the MCA versions do have the maps on an SD-card. 

    After removing the cover behind the volume control knob you will either find a DVD drive or an SD slot. According to this you either need to buy the correct DVD or SD-card. Note that the newer SD version of the Travelpilot NX uses a different SD-card/different maps than the newer MCA and the SD cards are copy protected (maps are linked to the unique CID number of the SD-card). Also note that the older DVD version has also copy protection and does not accept copied DVD's. To be able to use copied DVD's the system needs to be reprogrammed using custom firmware.
