Hi I have just put s new feul feul lump in my 1.6 petrol focus and it still won't start and I don't know if the cut of switch is ment to be down or up

    I have no idea but there are only 2 possible positions, try both. As it is petrol the system should self prime and start immediately after changing the fuel pump. Can you hear the pump run? Have you checked the fuse?

    What was the original problem that caused you to decide to change the pump?
