Could someone help me. Ford Focus tdci 2010. Driving fine about 20/25mph cars fine then suddenly engine malfunction alarm and comes to a halt a second or two later pulled over no lights on dash car dead then starts it up minute or two later all fine starts no problem no Mel lights on and no fault codes showing up. This has happened three times in last three days  any help appreciated

    Its fuel filter , I had same problem 

    Change it and you will be fine

    I got a post running from a few days ago,same  car ,mines done 126k , same  engine  malfunction msg  but so far , it has nt stalled.

    diagnostics  indicate    crank sensor and  fuel pressure .
