Sat-Nav detecting zero satellites

Yesterday - whilst lost in leafy Berkshire my sat-nav choose to pack up!

It just repeats 'return to digitized road'!

I think I see the cause - when I select info. it says zero satellites. (But I don't know how to resolve)

So the head unit itself seems to be working but its not getting any input from the GPS unit, could this be on a different fuse where is it - could the connection to head unit have become unplugged?

Is there an aerial perhaps has become unconnnected ?

Disconnecting after +5 years seems unlikely, the roof mounted GPS antenna has been known to fail with corrosion (water creeping in when the gasket fails). That would take replacing the GPS bit (base of the roof mounted antenna).
