Brake Noise

Hi Folks

Nought an st line focus last year and by and large enjoying the car.

recently though i have two or three friends say they have heard weird noises coming from the brakes, one described it as a strange mechanical sound.

I obviously can't hear this inside the car.

Is there any history of brake issues  or could it be some new system they are hearing, or should i get it checked out?

Get someone to stand at the side of the car while you creep backwards and forwards to try and identify which corner the noise is coming from, then, when identified take that wheel off and check for a stone/debris trapped between the disc and back plate ??
