1L Ecoboost, recalls, problems etc?

Seen a car for sale, how do i know if its been recalled and all the problems with the 1L ecoboost engines been fixed?

 

MOT history check of the REG, passed every year with no problems, its a 2014 car (Pre facelift)

gov . com check mot page there is a option at the bottom of that page for checking recalls

do you mean DVLA ?

came up with no recalls at all with that reg, does that mean, if there was a recall its been done ?

or just means Ford haven't recalled it at all?

As it's a pre-facelift, the replacement coolant hose isn't much better than the original.  It's likely to break again eventually.  You can upgrade to the facelift hose system which is much more reliable.

A 2014 1.0 EcoBoost should have had the coolant hose recall, and the clutch slip detection recall, if neither of those are showing as outstanding on ETIS then it's had them done already.
