ford focus st2 diesel air filter problem

hi got a 2018 focus st2 diesel having trouble with the filter ive got a pipercross px1746 filter which they said fits this car got it fitted today but dosnt fit correctly and shuts down my turbo the rim that sticks out of the original is around 20mm pipercross about 6mm so dosnt fit in properly anyone else got this problem dont know which filter to buy cheers
