Ecoboost driveshaft problem

Hi our driveshaft needs replacing, we've had 3 and they are all too short, the bearing is in the wrong place and cannot be moved even though there's more holes the bracket just doesn't line up. Can anyone help? We're getting desperate, we've got part number 1712273 from Ford.

It's a 1.6 ecoboost 150bhp 11 plate

Thanks in advance

I too get part no 1712273 for the Right Hand shaft. Left hand shaft is 1686194.

It is definitely a 1.6 ecoboost and not a duratec? Those use different shafts.

Yeah definitely and ecoboost.

Been advised to try get the driveshaft inner cv joint repaired. Spoken to ford and the guy was most unhelpful just kept saying it was that part and was £640 from them. Getting really stressed with it lol

The OP was last here on the forum 28th Feb 2020, I doubt that you will get an answer.
