Morning all, 

I am 2 weeks into owning a 68 plate wildtrak so I'm new to the truck and this site. 

I started adding bits to the truck yesterday and got stuck on the damper kit!

 

Once everything was fit I closed the tailgate but the metal hook which holds the cable is now hitting the damper WTF. 

I checked everything was in place and not loose but still the same result. 

I did remove the cable holder and tailgate now closes but all the weight was now on the P/S cable. 

 

I have returned back to the original setup, just checking to see if anyone has had this problem.
