Can anyone tell me what that hose is for in the picture iv circled? I have been checking my hoses today and this one is made out of a sort of fluffy material and then covered in rubber. When checking i noticed that there isnt really a tight connection on either side. TomsFocus Posted February 23, 2020 Share Posted February 23, 2020 It's an oil breather hose. Are you sure it's not sealed? The sheath over the top is just a heatshield so doesn't need to be tight, it's the ends of the rubber pipe that should be tight each end.
