Water in cylinders

Confused Chris

Open engine and find coolant in the cylinder sleeves. Strip cylinder head. Skim head and replace with new cylinder kit. Start engine. Engine start immediately. Run for about 3 minutes and cut-out.

Take plugs out and engine sleeves full of coolant again. What can be the problem.???

did you check the block for cracks☹️

I was thinking the only other thing would be either a crack in the block or a cracked head in a spot you cannot see really well.

Did you check to make sure the engine block mating surface was flat? Everyone worries about the head being warped but many just assume the block won't be...
